My gggg grandparents, rosemaler Knut Larsen Foss and his wife Kari Olesdatter Glesne lived on the Foss farm in the 1700s.

I am interested in any and all info about Elling Asleson Foss ( 1816 -1912) and his wife Ragnild
Kittelsdtr (1814-1910) who emigrated to Minnesota/Iowa area in 1850. Elling was the son of Asle Hermoson (1770-1831) and Ellie Haakonsdtr (1777-18620. Before emigrating they lived on Foss Farm in Hallingdal, Norway. They settled in Decorah, IA area and both there.
